Bauer Country Stick Contest – Terms & Conditions
I. Organiser and Scope
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the Bauer Country Stick Contest (the “Contest”), organised by Bauer Hockey AB, having its registered office in Gothenburg, Sweden (the “Organiser”). The Contest runs from May 9, 2025, to May 25, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).
Participation in the Contest is free and requires:

Submitting a valid email address

Correctly answering a hockey-related question
The Contest is only open to residents of Sweden, Denmark, and Finland aged 16 years or older at the time of entry. Participation implies full acceptance of these Terms.
II. Eligibility
To participate, individuals must:

Be a legal resident of Sweden, Denmark, or Finland

Be 16 years of age or older
-
Provide a valid email address and answer the hockey question during the Contest Period
The following individuals are not eligible:

Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Bauer Hockey AB
-
Anyone involved directly in organising or managing the Contest
III. How to Participate
Participants must:

Visit the official campaign site: https://fi.bauer.com/pages/world-championship-bauer-stick-contest (the “Contest Site”)

Submit their email address and answer the required hockey question

Accept these Terms and Conditions
Only complete and valid entries received during the Contest Period will be considered. Each participant may enter only once.
IV. Prizes
Each winner will receive one (1) limited-edition “Country Themed Hockey Stick”, designed with a national theme from one of the teams competing in the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, as chosen by the Organiser. The approximate retail value of the prize is $350 USD.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.
V. Taxes
Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees related to their prize. The Organizer isn’t liable for any tax obligations.
VI. Winner Selection & Notification

Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries that correctly answered the hockey question.

Winners will be notified via the email address provided during entry within 7 days after the end of the Contest Period.

If a selected winner does not respond within 72 hours, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
VII. Conduct and Disqualification
Participants agree to:

Refrain from submitting offensive, unlawful, or misleading information

Not interfere with the operation of the Contest Site

Respect the rules and spirit of fair competition
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant for:

Cheating or manipulating the Contest

Submitting false or incomplete data
-
Breaching any of these Terms
VIII. Personal Data
Personal data collected through this Contest (email address and any associated metadata) will be:

Used exclusively for administering the Contest

Processed in accordance with Bauer’s Privacy Policy: www.Bauerhockey.com/privacy

Retained for no more than 6 months after the end of the Contest unless otherwise permitted by law
Participants have the right to access, correct, or delete their data at any time by contacting: privacy@Bauerhockey.com
IX. Liability
Bauer Hockey AB is not liable for:

Technical issues, including server outages, data loss, or delayed entries

Entries lost due to third-party service providers

Any injury or damage caused by participation or prize use, to the fullest extent permitted by law
X. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gothenburg, Sweden.
XV. Force Majeure
The organizer isn’t liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond its control (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government actions).
